Hey guys I'm new to the Forum YES OF COURSE PHOTOS

Post by kjkjkcjkcj on Mon May 10, 2010 8:01 pm

Hello everyone I am new to the forum I saw this one advestised on 78TA.com so i thought i would join. I am 21 years old and in love with pontiac. I have a 79 WS6 trans am this is my baby. I have slowly been restoring it though it is a very long process being in college i don't have much money. I live in MASS in a small down just south of nashua NH. I love driving my car and would love to start taking her to shows. My dad first purchased the car from my godfather back in 83 so i know every detail about her. It is a w72 motor with a 4 speed.

Since i started the restoration these are the things i have done
1)Motor rebuild with ported #62 heads (267 HP and 368 torque) to the rears. i am currently savin for a comp XE262 cam to liven it up a bit
2)New brakes around
3)All new suspension
4)Took the subframe off painted it and replaced the bushings
5)Complete front end rebuild
6)Some interior work but my interior is in very good condition
7)Refinished the wheels
8)Cheap maaco paintjob until the car is exactly where I want it mechanically
9)Some unique anti theft devices
10)Custom Echaust 2 1/2 all the way back with 40 series flow masters and hooker headers
11)New high performance clutch
And thats all that i can remember

My future plans for my car is a stroker motor, and once she is mechanically sound and exactly the way i want her i will get a nice professional paint job because body work is not my strong suit.

My name is kyle and thanks for the welcomes. I do not believe they are recaro's. my god father had them put in at the pontiac dealership when he purchased it new because he was tall so he wanted a lower seat. i like them because they make my car look different. however they don't have that mesh headrest.

Howdy Kyle. I never noticed that the front seats were different before. Usually I'm Johnny on the spot with most changes. They look comfy.

Nice to see you over here too
