I scored some cool lierature at the Swap Meet Sunday

Post by Steve on Tue Jan 22, 2013 1:13 am

Browsing the swap meet at the Eastern States Exposition Center on Sunday I found a really unique and interesting brochure. It appears to be an internal Pontiac publication called Pontiac Safari that was distributed to dealers in the early seventies. I opened it and instead of finding pictures of the station wagons (the Safari line was usually station wagons, remember those?) it was full of photos of the 1970 Firebird. I put some web pages together to share it. Check it out and let me know if you have ever seen these '70 Firebird photos:

Pretty cool! Ive got a bunch of 3rd Gen Bird that stuff Ive scanned and posted on several sites and also posted here... I also recently scored a few other goodies that will getting posted soon, including a Burt Reynolds sanctioned/signed/numbered '82 "Bandit" Trans Am sales brochure... I havent had a chamce to scan it yet, but it is pretty intetesting... never actually heard of this until I stumbled upon it on ebay recently... if any exist still, they would be incredibly rare cars.

A brochure of the '82 Bandit would be a rare find let alone signed. Really cool.

Are you still planning on Saturday night at Kaptain Jacks. It's on.....
