An MG ahead of a TA? Unacceptable! C'mon guys, we need to get this going!

If an MG beats a TA for Cool Rides then we might as well all start wearing tights.

I know there are a lot more Firebirds than MG out there.

What would make it worse the MG isn't even USA made.

No not really? It looks like for each vote my count increases .01%. at this raito of .01 to 1 that would be 10,000 total vote now. That ratio hasn't changed for the last few days. That is a little strand, because I'm sure more votes are still comming in.

When I first started to track this it was .04% per vote.

There is a definite inverse relationship between your TA and the MG. The MG came out strong but isn't holding the votes up.

The Chevy has alot of action. I wonder why?

Great news Cool Rides Online has changed how you Vote. The change prevents anyone from useing Marcos to vote. Now only real people can Vote. As you can see this has made a BIG difference.
It's easy to see when this change went into effect.
So your votes will Really do make a difference.

Son of a gun. Look at how that Chevy took a nose dive. I considered trying to beat the IP Address scheme (I have 15 available at work) and had I known that the others were cheating I guess I should have. I just hate being a cheater so I didn't.

At this moment we need about 180 votes to tie. We can muster 500 votes, can't we?

The bigger problem was they (Cool Rides) tried to enforce voting rules that they Never published. So with no rules, no cheating. Not that posting rules would have prevented someone from developing an automated voting program (Macro). But it would have allowed them to warn/remove anyone that didn't abide by the Rules.

I subscribe that you lean how a system works so you can us it and not be abused by it.

The poll is temporarily down

Marcel
CRO Founder

UPDATE: The poll is temporarily down while we look for the best method to complete the voting in a way that is most fair to all contestants and in the best interest for the Cool Rides Online community.
We will communicate how we will complete the contest directly to the 12 monthly winners via email.
--------------------------
Guys, please be civil and respectful towards our own community and not throw any car owner under the bus. Everyone in this or any of our other polls sends out requests for votes to their network and have no control over what someone in that network ends up doing. All 12 of the monthly winners have spent a lot of time and money on the ride they love and we owe it to them to show them respect and adulation for their effort.

More to come - Thanks Marcel

OK this is what Cool Rides Online has decided to do. The bottom line is you will only be allowed to vote once and you have to be a member of their forum.

I just want everyone to know that I do appreciate your support and can understand if you chose not register on the Cool Rides forum. But they are like most car guys and they truly has a passion for the car hobby.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Guys,
I’m sorry about all of the confusion that came about the original poll and I apologize to you and your friends for any inconvenience or aggravation this will cause. When I created the poll I didn’t enable all of the security options and that compromised the voting. Please note that there is no evidence of wrong-doing from any particular contestant as unauthenticated votes were coming in for all cars.

In order to complete the competition in a way that is fair to everyone, easier for us to manage (QA) and is in the best interest of the Cool Rides Online community, we’ve decided to recreate the poll on the Cool Rides Online forum. Only forum members will be allowed to vote and to make it easier on your friends/supporters, they’ll only need to vote once as it’s one vote per person instead of daily. They can either register to the forum or log in to vote using the “Facebook connect” button at the top of the forum if they have a Facebook account .

The new poll is here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
POLL RULES: · Only forum members are allowed to vote
· Only one vote per member
·This poll will remain open for 15 days after posting (Closes 2/19/2013)
·No duplicate or fake accounts (Suspected accounts will be deleted/banned and votes removed)

NOTE: I’m also going to ask for your help in keeping the forum friendly. While asking your friends to vote please ask them to be respectful of the other forum members and avoid throwing accusations or trolling.

Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or additional concerns.
