1969 Cameo White Trans Am at COF Cruise Night

Post by 69_RAG_TOP on Tue Aug 07, 2012 12:16 pm

Hi. This week has been hot ... and so have the car shows and the car cruises too.

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of handing out 75 Goodie Bags at the Charter Oak Firebirds Cruise Night at Panera Bread in Newington CT. There were many spectacular cars there …. Impalas, Bel Airs, Fairlaines, Galaxie 500s, Barracudas, Mustangs, Olds Cutlass 442, Dodge Challengers, Chevelles, Camaros, Novas, Firebirds and GTOs.

Of course there were many Trans Ams … but one Trans Am caught my eye. A rarely seen Cameo white on white 1969 numbers matching 4 speed car. Yes, a real, genuine, 1969 Trans Am.

The car was one of the finest 1969 Trans Ams I have ever seen. The owner is a Connecticut collector (I will keep his name anonymous for obvious reasons) and has never shown this car until recently. Soon to be on display at the By Invitation Hemmings Classic Car Show in Satatoga Springs New York, this car is a very rare Bird. I was able to get permission to photograph the car.

I hope you enjoy one of the nicest examples of a genuine First Generation Trans Am on the road today.

Get your motor runnin'. Head out on the highway Lookin' for adventure. And whatever comes our way. 1978 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, W72 Engine. bored .030 over Coded WC, 4-speed, Forged rods, pistons, 6X Heads Hays performance clutch, Flowmaster 40 Series 3" stainless dual exhaust, Hooker super competition, Ceramic coated long tube headers, 4 core HD radiator, Edelbrock Performer Series Carb
