Old Lyme Memorial Day Lions Club Show 05-28-12

Here are some shots from local show I attended today. Even got to shake
hands and meet celebrity Wayne Carinni from TV's Chasing Classic Cars.
Wayne had the sweet vintage Jaguar race car.

Harry, thanks for posting the pics. I was able to get a few shots of Wayne Carini and his 1952 Jaguar race car too. There were an amazing display of rare cars there today.

While the show had very low turnout on a very hot and humid day, the cars that did show up were gorgeous.

The gray and black 1933 Rolls Royce was a spectacular car that you usually do not see at shows. Even more rare is that burgundy 1931 Packard Cabriolet with the tan top. The guy who owns it looked for a classic Packard for 20 years and this is the only one left in this model.

The 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible belongs to a friend of mine who was laid off at the same time as me. That car is a high quality car. The 1968 Firebird is owned by a guy I met at other car shows. Beautiful car.

Did you talk to the owner of the 1979 blue Pontiac Trans Am? I tried to track him down with no luck.

That was a great car that I had not seen before.
I stayed until 2:00PM and then took my Firebird convertible to Ocean Beach.

Get your motor runnin'. Head out on the highway Lookin' for adventure. And whatever comes our way. 1978 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, W72 Engine. bored .030 over Coded WC, 4-speed, Forged rods, pistons, 6X Heads Hays performance clutch, Flowmaster 40 Series 3" stainless dual exhaust, Hooker super competition, Ceramic coated long tube headers, 4 core HD radiator, Edelbrock Performer Series Carb
