MEMORIAL DAY 2012

Post by Brother Al on Fri May 25, 2012 5:38 pm

With Memorial Day Weekend upon our doorstep,

I would like everyone to Remember Those Who Served, and Gave All Fighting For, and Defending Our Great Country!
This is Their Weekend, so please remember their Ultimate Sacrifices, and Honor Them.
With all the time that our modern lives rapidly consumes, Please take a few moments to

stop and offer them a moment of silence and a Prayer on Monday, the 28th of May.

God Bless and may everyone have a Fun and Safe Weekend!

=Brother Al =

It is the soldier, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the soldier,
who salutes the flag,
who serves under the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag,
who allows the protester to burn the flag.

By Charles M. Province

While we are enjoying the weekend, let us remember those that have served in the United States military and have allowed us to have these freedoms.
