2013 Saratoga Show

Post by Steve on Wed Dec 14, 2011 10:56 pm

Tom Smith sent the Firebird Nation of North America report out yesterday and to my surprise he said that 2012 might be the end as he and Sandy plan to retire and move out of the area after that. He is looking for people to step up and take over. I hope someone does. If not I will have to consider it myself, although I'm a computer geek and what the heck do I know about organizing an event like that. If I did I would have to move it closer by. I am hoping John and Sandy brew some more of that delicious wine (hi test) so I can tie one on and volunteer without knowing what I'm getting in to.

I look forward to the Firebird show all year. What do you guys think?

I think I would love to do a show but my biggest fear would be that I organize something and no one shows.

Steve,

I have been waiting for responses from the regular annual Saratoga attendees.

No one has any opinions if the show was moved to the greater NY NJ Massachusetts Connecticut Rhode Island area?

Probably on this board no one would have a problem with it since moving the show would most likely be closer. However people come from Ohio, Canada, Pennsylvania, and other states that are substantially further away from Western Mass/CT.
