Is this car worth $37,770

Here is a car purported to have only 2337 original miles. It does't look all original to me. What do you think?

The 6.6 LITRE decals are slightly higher than the factory placement. Is this factory mistake? I doubt it. The engine looks a little too clean for a 30 year old paint job too. The exhaust manifolds should have petina to them, perhaps unless the car was stored in a climate control garage, but these look coated. The snowflake center caps are not the steel originals but it does have correct tires. The springs for the hood are not natural steel either.

I guess you can't call it a fake because it doesn't say that it is all original, just that it has 2337 actual miles.

Either way this is lots of money for a base Trans Am (standard interior, standard engine).

Nice find Steve. I am a little skeptical that this Trans Am is a time capsule with only 2337 original miles.

I think the restorer has done a really nice job with the car. I will be curious to see if the seller gets $40,000 for the car. Check out the other cars for sale. This eBay seller has several million dollars in inventory for sale at the same time.

Get your motor runnin'. Head out on the highway Lookin' for adventure. And whatever comes our way. 1978 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, W72 Engine. bored .030 over Coded WC, 4-speed, Forged rods, pistons, 6X Heads Hays performance clutch, Flowmaster 40 Series 3" stainless dual exhaust, Hooker super competition, Ceramic coated long tube headers, 4 core HD radiator, Edelbrock Performer Series Carb
