If you are interested give him a call 203-458-8917 or email him [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] It would be really nice to keep this one in Connecticut.

I think this would make a great addition to most Firebird guy's garages.

If you want the car as an investment it will sell lower than a correct body and engine matching VIN number and a fully PHS documented Super Duty.

But in reality who cares ... If you are going to drive the car buy it.

Well it looks like Dave Sold his SD. It went for $47,000.00. Someone is getting a really GOOD Deal.

I just hope Dave is able to complete this Deal. The buyer has 0 Positive feedback and has only 20 deals on eBay.

I would be very very cautious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just sold my NOS Quarter panel on E-bay to someone with zero feedback. I thought it would be a bust too but they came through. Some nice folks on Long Island restoring a Bandit SE.

It sold for $1500.

I wonder if the car is staying in New England or is getting shipped out of state? Or maybe overseas?

With the U.S. dollar very weak against the euro a lot of American muscle cars are going across the pond. Too bad.

Would I buy it for $47,000? Hell no, I would buy 4 different Firebirds for $10,000 each and save the $7,000 for upgrades...lol

As for my two cents, I think Dave did very well to get the cash when he did. I hope it all works out well for him.

Taking advantage of some beautiful weather today I decided to take my T/A out for a spin up RT 1 thru branford and further up when out of now where a white SD 455 was a few cars ahead of me pulled into a gas station so I pulled in after it and it was Dave W. behind the wheel,it`s a complicated story but to make a long story short the car is staying put in Connecticut under his ownership which made my day.

John,

Wow...lol...So what is the probability that you would be driving your TA and run into Dave W. at a gas station?

Glad to hear that the 1973 SD is still going to be around town so the COF members can still see this car.

I think the probability of seeing and SD-455 at the gas station is pretty high. Those cars can pass anything on the road except a gas station.

Note, this is just humor. I too am glad that the car is staying here with all due respect.
